Don't be that guy

I saw the above exchange on social media yesterday and it made me angry. I don't know why people feel the need to one up someone (or everyone) because not everything is about you. I would like to ask everyone to just be polite. Not everything you think needs to be expressed. Show some compassion, it might be contageous. That person commenting on the posted status could have just said, "Oh wow that really sucks. I hope everything got fixed." And they could have posted their own status on their profile complaining about being sick with COVID so that people could comment expressing their sympathy.

And please people, don't leave rude comments. That is not acceptable. Especially calling people names and telling them to kill themselves, that is bullying. Don't be a bully. And don't be that guy that aggravates the situation instead of making the world a better place.
