Don't hate me, but...

I want to forget. It is 24 years later and I want to be free of that horrible memory. I think that 9/11 is my generation's version of the Kennedy Assasination. Everyone knows where they were and what they were doing when they found out our country was under attack and planes were going down and our people were being killed.

If everyone else never forgets, is it ok for me to forget?
